Your information.
Treated with respect.
This notice explains what information OK4UK may receive through this website, why it is used, how long it may be retained and the choices available to you.
At a glance
Information we may receive
This may include information you choose to send by email or through a linked form; ordinary technical data such as IP address, device/browser type, time and requested page recorded by hosting and security systems; privacy preferences stored in your browser; and secure administrator-session data if an authorised user signs in.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use information to respond to enquiries, assess potential business relationships, operate and secure the website, maintain records, comply with legal obligations and improve our services. Depending on the context, our lawful basis may be consent, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with law, or legitimate interests that do not override your rights.
Cookies and browser storage
Optional analytics is disabled unless you choose “Accept optional”. OK4UK does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer. Browser controls may also delete stored preferences.
Sharing and processors
Information may be processed by vetted service providers that support hosting, security, website storage, email or enquiry forms, and by professional advisers or public authorities where necessary. We do not sell personal information. Providers are expected to process data only for agreed purposes and with suitable safeguards.
International transfers
Our team and service providers may operate in the UK, European Economic Area and other countries. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we seek to use an available legal safeguard such as an adequacy decision, recognised contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, dispute handling and proportionate business records. We use organisational and technical controls intended to protect information, but no internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@ok4uk.com. UK individuals may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office; EU/EEA individuals may contact their local supervisory authority.
Children
This corporate website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through it. Project ICU’s charitable purpose does not change that position. Any future service involving children will require a specific, age-appropriate privacy and safeguarding framework.
Updates and contact
We may update this notice when our services, legal obligations or technologies change. Material changes will be reflected by the review date. Questions or rights requests can be sent to hello@ok4uk.com.
